Things You Would Probably Believe About Me When I Don't "Like and Share" on Facebook

I hate my family:  my parents, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and non-existent children.

I want everyone to die of cancer.

I hate America, veterans, and anyone currently serving in the military.

I don't believe in God, Jesus, or Allah (oh wait a minute...)

I am prejudiced against autistic kids.

I believe all animals should be treated cruelly.

I don't want you to have good luck because I'm not sharing the pictures of angels. 

I have no sympathy or support for the victims of (insert national tragedy here).

According to Facebook, I'm a pretty rotten person!

The United States has never been more divided. This divided country will fall apart. Are we headed for another civil war? It's hard to listen to any political commentary these days without hearing about how "divided" the country is. The United States isn't united. How To Not Curate and Edit Your Wardrobe (and still be happy with it)

Out with the old, in with the new. Wait.  That's not quite right.  Old does not have to go out if it's still useful and still looks good.  New doesn't have to take over the old.  Do I have too much old?  Did I buy too much new? I am following several fashion bloggers who talk about creating a "capsule wardrobe".  This is a wardrobe of fairly timeless pieces that best capture your style. At first I thought these sites were going to help me dress perfectly with every piece mixable and into a signature style that screams "Rachel."  No item would be superfluous and everything would work together harmoniously. I have learned in the past few weeks as I transition my wardrobe from the fall/winter closet to the spring/summer closet that trying to get yourself into this mindset can drive you crazy. My New Take on Health in 2021 (Just Eat Already!)

When I was a teen, I had this fantasy about eating breakfast on a porch.   I couldn't tell you why I wanted to eat breakfast on a porch so badly.  It was simply something I felt I wanted to do.  I was convinced a porch was the perfect place to eat breakfast.  Looking back now I understand the appeal.  Many people enjoy dining al fresco.  A porch provides the opportunity to dine outside, and still be sheltered from some of the elements.  Eating on the porch provides the sensory experience of dining in the open air, but also provides the comfort and protection of home. We greet the day from an open, but somewhat secure, environment.  Breakfast on the porch also suggests a sense of calmness and leisure.  You have to take the time to carry your breakfast outside.  If you are sitting outdoors, you don't want to be rushed.  Eating on the porch isn't the same as wolfing down your breakfast before rushing out the door, or eating at you...
